What is Redeemer Youth?
Redeemer Youth is our ministry for middle and high school students. There are two rhythms we have in place for your child to get connected:
R3 — This is a monthly gathering for middle and high school students on the third Sunday of the month (hence the name R3 for third Sunday). This event is primarily meant to build connection, have fun, and build strong friendships. It’s a great way for new students to get started with our youth group and for current students to invite their friends. The exact plans (location, activities, etc.) for each R3 will change from month to month, but will generally be on Sundays at 6:00pm and include food and games. Sign up at the link below to be notified of each upcoming plan.
Bible Study — The youth Bible study meets on every other week (excluding the week of R3 and holiday breaks) on Sundays at 6:00pm. Our focus with this group is on creating an environment for middle and high school students to grow in their understanding of God’s Word and what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Let us know at the link below if your child would like to be a part of this group.
Upcoming Teaching Series
Back to Basics (starting August 17th) — Who is God? What does it mean to know and follow him? In this series, we’re getting back to the basics of what it means to be a Christian by exploring the Bible’s answers to key questions about our faith.
Anchored (starting September 28th) — How do we follow Jesus and be joyful when everything around us makes us feel anxious and depressed? In this series, we’ll discover how Jesus is our hope that anchors our souls in through the storms of life.
Bad Advice (starting October 26th) — Follow your heart! Live your truth! Do what makes you happy! Our culture offers all kinds of advice on how we should live, but what does the Bible have to say about “advice” like this? This series puts these ideas to the test.
Fakers or Followers (starting November 23rd) — What separates real followers of Jesus from the fakes? How can we be authentic in our faith? We’ll dive into these questions and more in this series as we explore what true Christianity looks like according to the Bible.
