Everything you need to know:
-
Redeemer Kids meets concurrently with our Sunday gatherings to engage kids aged birth through third grade in a fun, safe, and gospel-centered environment. We offer four separate classes to provide age appropriate care and instruction. Our babies and 3’s & 4’s classes meet for the duration of our gathering while our Pre-K & K and Grade School classes will join us for worship and dismiss for their classes just before the sermon portion of our gathering. Families are welcomed and encouraged to pick up their kids after communion to join us for our final song of worship and benediction. If you are a visiting us for the first time, our volunteers will help you get your kids checked in and be available to answer any questions.
-
You can check your kids into Redeemer Kids prior to the gathering. You’ll find the check-in area inside our doors and down the hallway to your left. The babies (0-2) and toddlers (3-4) classes run the duration of our gathering while the Pre-K/K and grade school (1-3rd grade) classes meet only during the sermon portion of the gathering. The kids will be dismissed prior to the service and their teacher will lead them to their respective class.
-
We use the Biggest Story curriculum for all of our Redeemer Kids classes. While it is aimed at a lower grade school level, we adapt the content and activities each week to be age-appropriate for each class. There are parent resources to continue engaging your kids throughout the week including a podcast and Scripture memory cards. We reward kids for knowing the previous week’s memory verse by letting them draw from the prize box. If you would like a pack of the memory verse cards, let the volunteer at check-in know!
-
Yes, we have snacks in all of our classes except for grade school. When you check-in, you’ll be asked about any allergies or preferences. We use bright yellow wristbands to let the teacher know to check for any allergy or parent-designated preference about the snack. We have gluten-free snacks in every classroom, though we cannot completely guarantee cross-contamination will not occur.
-
Several individuals in our church serve in Redeemer Kids on rotation. Every volunteer is adequately trained and background-checked to ensure we keep a safe and fun environment for your kids.

We will collect your contact information during the check-in process. If an issue arises with your child (needing a bathroom break, unruly behavior, inconsolable, etc.), their teacher will text you. If a response is not received, one of our other volunteers will come notify you during the gathering.
